This far-field IR ring light reaches 500-3000 mm, so pick it over a close-range or built-in ring light when the MV420 or MV440 is mounted well back from the code, for example on a conveyor with limited headroom. It mounts to the camera housing via the 6GF3440-8CD01 lamp holder rather than directly, so order that mounting plate together with the light if the camera isn't already fitted with it.
