The Schneider Electric VZN17 is a shaft extension for TeSys VARIO and Mini-VARIO switch-disconnectors, letting a VN12, VN20 or V02-V2 switch body mounted at the back of an enclosure be operated from a door-mounted handle 300-330 mm away. It is a purely mechanical accessory with no electrical rating of its own.

Specify the VZN17 whenever panel depth keeps the switch body itself away from the door — common in deep wall-mounted enclosures — so the handle can still provide door interlocking at the front. Measure the actual back-to-door distance before ordering: the shaft only covers the 300-330 mm range and will not take up slack outside it.
