- Description
The Schneider Electric LZ7H2X4BD is a TeSys Hybrid ultra-compact direct-on-line starter with an integrated Safe Torque Off function, combining hybrid power contacts, class 10A thermal overload protection and SIL3/PLe safety in a 22.5 mm wide housing, for 3-phase motors up to 0.75 kW at 400 V. The thermal range is adjustable 0.18-2.4 A on a 24 V DC control circuit.

Selection Notes
The built-in STO function lets the LZ7H2X4BD be wired directly into a safety chain without an external safety relay or contactor, at SIL3 per IEC 61508-1 and PLe per ISO 13849-1 — pick it over the non-safety LZ1H2X4BD whenever the application needs a certified safe-stop function. Because the safety function removes automatic reset, only manual or electrical reset is available after a thermal trip, unlike the non-safety variants. Choose the LZ8H2X4BD instead if the motor also needs forward/reverse control.
