The Schneider Electric LUFW10 is a TeSys U function module that plugs into LUB120, LUB320, or LUB380 advanced power bases to provide a thermal overload pre-alarm. It switches a 1 NO contact rated 2 A at 230 V AC / 24 V DC once the thermal state passes 88% of the tripping threshold, with 5% hysteresis, and is powered by the control unit.

Selection Notes

The LUFW10 gives a pre-trip warning rather than the trip event itself, since it fires at 88% of the thermal state with a 5% hysteresis band; wiring its NO contact into a PLC or SCADA alarm lets operators intervene on a developing overload before the starter actually opens the motor circuit.
