The Schneider Electric LA9G3SA is a TeSys Giga switching module kit that replaces the main contacts of a 3-pole LC1G400-500 contactor, rated 500 A AC-3 (700 A AC-1) at up to 440 V. The plug-and-play design lets the contact set be swapped without replacing the whole contactor, extending its service life.

Selection Notes

The LA9G3SA matches the 500 A AC-3 rating of the LC1G400-500 frame, the top of the LA9G switching-module family. Smaller frames use the LA9G3QA (225 A AC-3) or LA9G3RA (330 A AC-3) modules instead. Replacing only the switching module after heavy-duty switching service is cheaper than replacing the full contactor body and coil.
