The Schneider Electric GV2RT21 is a TeSys Deca (TeSys GV2) motor circuit breaker rated 17-23 A at 690 V AC, providing thermal-magnetic protection for 3-phase motors up to 9-11 kW at 400 V. It trips magnetically at 400 A, delivers a 15 kA breaking capacity at 400 V, and is operated by a toggle rated for 100,000 AC-3 cycles.

Selection Notes

The 17-23 A setting suits motors drawing up to 9-11 kW at 400 V. Breaking capacity at 400 V drops to 15 kA on this and the other high-current GV2RT variants (100 kA on the 0.25-10 A settings below it in the same series), so where prospective fault current exceeds 15 kA a GV1L3 current-limiter module should be fitted on top of the breaker.
