- Description
CAD50ED is Schneider Electric's TeSys Deca control relay in a 5NO arrangement, built around a 48 V DC coil and a 140 A AC rated making capacity for up to 690 V circuits. Rated for AC-15/DC-13 duty between -40 and +60 °C, it duplicates and interlocks pilot signals in motor control circuits, terminating on screw clamp terminals on DIN rail or a mounting plate.

Selection Notes
Choose this 5NO variant for five make contacts, useful where one command must be duplicated to several downstream circuits without a break contact. The 48 V DC coil matches circuits already wired at that voltage, avoiding a separate step-down winding. The DC coil carries no steady-state inrush surge but closes in 53–72 ms — noticeably slower than the AC-coil variant's 12–22 ms — because of the electronic surge-limiting circuit; account for that when the relay is in a fast-cycling sequence.
