The Schneider Electric BCH18MF10332F5C is the braked version of Schneider's 1 kW Easy Lexium 18 BCH18 servo motor, rated for 3.18 N·m continuous stall torque at 3000 rpm nominal speed and 6000 rpm maximum mechanical speed. Its 80 mm flange carries a 23-bit optic incremental encoder and a 3.0 N·m holding brake, adding mass over the brake-less BCH18MF10332A5C for the same output rating.

The BCH18MF10332F5C fits the same 80 mm M80 envelope and 1 kW rating as the BCH18MF10332A5C but adds a 3.0 N·m holding brake, so it is the pick when the axis must stay in position — a lifted tool, a clamped fixture — the instant the LXM18 drive loses power. Its 23-bit optic incremental encoder still requires homing after power-up; the BCH18MF1033CF5C offers the same brake and power rating with a multi-turn encoder for applications that cannot tolerate a re-homing move. Net weight rises to 3.75 kg from the brake-less motor's 3 kg, and rotor inertia rises slightly to 2.32 kg.cm², both worth accounting for when sizing the mounting bracket and coupling for the added length and mass.
