Selection Notes

Conformal coating and the wider -30 to +75 degrees C range are what separate this EEC variant from the standard WAM766-1 - both target panels exposed to condensation, vibration, or fuel and oil vapor that a standard PCB coating would not survive. The IP65/IP67 rating covers washdown and brief immersion, useful on vehicle roofs or outdoor gantries where the base IP65 unit would need an added enclosure. Eight SSIDs and the same 1201 Mbit/s radio pair as the base model mean throughput is unchanged - only ruggedization differs. Pick the standard WAM766-1 instead for fixed indoor cabinets where the extended temperature range and coating add cost without a use case.
