The Siemens 6GK1901-0DB20-6AA0 is an Industrial Ethernet FastConnect M12 Plug PRO 2x2, a D-coded, 4-pole M12 field connector for SCALANCE X208 PRO, ET 200 PRO PN and ET 200 eco PN. It has a metal enclosure, IP65/67 sealing, and terminates FC TP installation cable with integrated cut-and-clamp contacts rated for 10/100 Mbit/s.

Selection Notes

The PRO designation and metal, IP65/67-sealed body distinguish this from a standard indoor M12 plug: it is the field-mountable connector for SCALANCE X208 PRO and ET 200 PRO/eco PN devices installed outside a cabinet. The D-coded 4-pole pinout keeps it limited to 10/100 Mbit/s PROFINET, not Gigabit; a Gigabit application needs an X-coded M12 variant instead. Ten reuses on the cut-and-clamp contacts means it can be reterminated during commissioning rework without ordering a new plug each time.

Applications

Field-level PROFINET connections to SCALANCE X208 PRO switches or ET 200 PRO/eco PN stations mounted outside the control cabinet, including washdown or outdoor machine zones needing IP65/67 sealing.
