How to choose
- Housing size: choose by the number of contacts and modules, for example sizes 6B, 10B or 24B.
- Contact type: crimp contacts need the right conductor cross-section and a matching crimp tool.
- Locking: single, central or double lever, set by the vibration and mating force.
- Cable entry: PG or metric thread, for example PG29 or M32, to fit the gland.
- Protection degree: check the datasheet for the IP rating of the housing, such as IP65.

Yes. Han-Modular frames take several module types side by side in one housing, so one connector can carry power, signal and pneumatic lines.
Can I fit any Han contact into any Han insert?
No. Contact families are built for specific inserts. Check the insert and contact part numbers against the Harting datasheet.
