Can I fit a higher-rated fuse in a holder?
No. The holder current rating is a limit, and an oversized fuse can overheat the holder. Keep the fuse at or below the holder rating.
What is a fuse reducer?
A fuse reducer lets a smaller fuse fit a larger fuse clip. It changes fit only, so the circuit still needs a fuse sized for the load.
