  • Description

The Siemens 6GT2898-0AC00 is a SIMATIC RF600 wide-range power supply unit that converts a 100 to 240 V AC input into a 24 V DC, 3 A output for directly powering two RFID readers at the process. Housed to IP67 with an EU Schuko power cable and two M12 4-pin output connectors, it withstands wash-down and outdoor mounting near the antenna.

Selection Notes

The IP67 housing and 100 to 240 V AC universal input let this unit sit directly at the reader rather than in a cabinet, cutting the DC run length to the antenna. Two M12 output ports mean one unit feeds two readers instead of one power supply per reader. The 3.9 A continuous short-circuit current rating protects the output without an external fuse, and the Class II protective insulation removes the need for a separate protective-earth connection at the load.
