The Schneider Electric ABL8RED24400 is a Phaseo redundancy module that keeps a 24 V DC auxiliary circuit powered if one of two parallel ABL8 power supplies fails. It accepts a 24-28.8 V DC input from each supply and delivers up to 40 A of combined output. A front LED per input reports supply status for fast diagnosis on the panel.

Selection Notes

Choose the ABL8RED24400 when two ABL8RP or ABL8WP power supplies feed the same 24 V DC bus and the installation cannot tolerate a single power-supply failure taking the bus down; either unit can carry the full 40 A load if the other trips. Use the buffer module in the same series instead when the concern is a brief mains interruption rather than supply redundancy.
