- Description
The Siemens 6EP4197-8AB00-0XY0 is a SITOP UPS8600 UPS module that plugs into a SITOP PSU8600 power supply and buffers its 48 V DC output at up to 960 W using external BAT8600 battery modules. Its charger delivers up to 120 W to recharge the batteries, and buffer time is set from 1 to 88 minutes by DIP switch or until the batteries are discharged.

Selection Notes
Buffer time is set from 1 to 88 minutes by DIP switch, or the module can be left to run until the attached BAT8600 batteries are fully discharged, so the same hardware covers both a short controlled-shutdown bridge and an extended runtime application depending only on switch position and battery count. It draws power through the PSU8600's integrated connector rather than separate input terminals, and supports up to two expansion modules for additional output capacity, so it fits installations already built around the PSU8600 rack rather than a standalone 24 V bus.
