The 40 A rated output matches the highest-current SITOP UPS1600 units, and the 9 A max charging current is the highest in the BAT1600 range, letting the battery recharge faster after a deep buffering event. Service life falls off faster with heat than the lithium variants: 10 years at 20 degrees C but only 1.25 years at 50 degrees C.
