The Schneider Electric VZ7 is an add-on auxiliary contact block for TeSys Vario switch-disconnectors, mounting to either side of switch bodies V02 to V6. It provides a late-make NO contact and an early-break NC contact rated for AC operation up to 690 V and DC operation up to 250 V, with a 12 A conventional free-air thermal current.

The VZ7's early-break NC contact opens before the switch blades separate, making it suitable for an interlock or pre-signal that must de-energize a downstream circuit ahead of the main contacts; where both signals should instead be closed-on-ON, the 2 NO VZ20 is the matching part on the same V02-V6 switch body range.
