The C16S2TM125 is a 2-pole Schneider Electric ComPacT NSX160S AC/DC moulded case circuit breaker rated 125 A, with a TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit and 70 kA breaking capacity (Icu) at 380/415 V AC. It is dual-rated for 690 V AC or 500 V DC with both poles in series, with Ue given as 690 V AC on the AC side.

The S frame gives the C16S2TM125 the highest Icu of any 2-pole NSX160 AC/DC breaker in this range — 70 kA at 415 V AC against the M frame's 25 kA, for the same 125 A current and 70 x 161 x 86 mm body. On DC duty its Icu reaches 100 kA at both 250 V (1 pole) and 500 V (2 poles in series), the highest DC figure in the 2-pole NSX160 line. Pick it over the lower-kA 2-pole frames whenever the branch circuit's prospective fault current demands the extra margin.
