The 840 A / 450 kW rating places this power module at the upper end of the G130 range — size the line-side breaker and cabling to that current, not to the motor nameplate alone. IP00 is an open chassis rating, so the module must be installed inside a closed cabinet with forced cooling; it is not a stand-alone enclosure. Because it ships without a control module, it must be paired with a compatible SINAMICS control unit over Drive-CLiQ before commissioning — factor that into the bill of materials. The 6-pulse, non-regenerative supply design means braking energy is dissipated rather than fed back to the line, so a braking module or resistor is needed for applications with frequent deceleration.
