The Schneider Electric VBF6 is a 3-pole TeSys VARIO switch-disconnector rated 175 A, built from a V6 switch body and a long padlockable handle on a yellow front plate with 4-screw door mounting, for main motor switching up to 45 kW at 400 V AC-23. It carries IP65 protection once installed on the enclosure door.

Selection Notes

The VBF6 is the largest switch in the VBF door-mounted series, sharing its 90 x 90 mm base, 95 mm2 terminal and 22.6 N.m torque spec with the VBF5 — the two differ only in Ith/Ithe current and breaking capacity, not housing size. As with the V5 body, the V6 body only accepts two add-on poles, one per side: neutral (VZ13), earthing (VZ16) or auxiliary contacts (VZ7, VZ20).
