The Schneider Electric VBF5 is a 3-pole TeSys VARIO switch-disconnector rated 125 A, built from a V5 switch body and a long padlockable handle on a yellow front plate with 4-screw door mounting, for main motor switching up to 37 kW at 400 V AC-23. It carries IP65 protection once installed on the enclosure door.

Selection Notes

The VBF5 moves to a 90 x 90 mm base and 95 mm2 terminal capacity, a step up in both handle length and tightening torque (22.6 N.m) from the VBF0-VBF4 frames — plan cable gland and gland-plate clearance accordingly. Unlike the smaller VBF bodies, the V5 body only accepts two add-on poles, one per side: neutral (VZ13), earthing (VZ16) or auxiliary contacts (VZ7, VZ20); there is no separate main add-on pole for this frame.
