The Siemens 1FK7060-2AC71-1QA0 is a SIMOTICS S-1FK7 (1FK7-CT) permanent-magnet synchronous servo motor rated 1.1 kW at 2,000 rpm, delivering 6 Nm standstill torque (M0, 100K) from a 600 V DC link. It has no holding brake, carries a single-turn 20-bit DRIVE-CLiQ absolute encoder (AS20DQI), and is naturally cooled in a shaft height 63, IMB 5 (IM V1/V3) housing rated IP64.

This is the larger 1FK7060 frame (shaft height 63) rather than the 1FK7042 frame, doubling standstill torque to 6 Nm and rotor inertia to 7.700 kgcm² — choose it over the 1FK7042 frame when the load needs 6 Nm rather than 3 Nm at the same 2,000 rpm rated speed. The 40,500 Nm/rad shaft torsional stiffness supports tighter positioning loops than the smaller frame's 15,500 Nm/rad. No holding brake is fitted; the with-brake version of this frame is the choice on vertical or overhung loads where position must be held at standstill.

Applications

Used as the servo motor in higher-torque machine axes — heavier pick-and-place arms, indexing tables, and feed axes — driven through a DRIVE-CLiQ-based servo drive via the AS20DQI single-turn absolute encoder interface. The naturally-cooled IMB 5 housing suits panel- or machine-frame-mounted installations without forced-air cooling.
