- Description
The Schneider Electric BMH0701P16A2A is a Lexium 32 BMH servo motor with a medium-inertia 10-pole rotor, rated for 1.2 N·m continuous stall torque when paired with an LXM32.U60N4 drive, or 1.4 N·m with the larger LXM32.D12N4. It spins to 8000 rpm maximum mechanical speed, carries a single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder, a 70 mm flange and a keyed shaft, and ships without a holding brake.

Selection Notes
The BMH0701P16A2A is dual-rated for two LXM32 drive pairings: 1.2 N·m continuous stall torque and 350 W nominal output power with the smaller LXM32.U60N4, or 1.4 N·m and 700 W with the larger LXM32.D12N4 — the drive choice, not the motor, sets which operating point the axis runs at. Its single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder gives the drive automatic motor identification at startup but not absolute position memory, so pair it with an application that tolerates homing after a power cycle. Without a holding brake, it fits a horizontal or counterbalanced axis; the higher-torque BMH0702P16F2A steps up to more torque and adds a brake in the same 70 mm flange and keyed-shaft format.
