- Description
The Schneider Electric BCH18MM2023CF6C is the braked version of Schneider's 2 kW Easy Lexium 18 BCH18 servo motor, rated for 9.55 N·m continuous stall torque at 2000 rpm nominal speed on a 130 mm flange. Its 40 N·m holding brake is more than four times the motor's own stall torque, built for axes that must hold a suspended or clamped load once the LXM18 drive drops power.

Selection Notes
The BCH18MM2023CF6C matches the BCH18MM2023CA6C's 9.55 N·m continuous stall torque and 2 kW rating but adds a 40 N·m holding brake — more than four times the motor's own stall torque — for M130-frame axes that must stay locked the instant the LXM18 drive loses power. The added brake lengthens the motor from 195.9 mm to 238.5 mm and raises net weight from 11.2 kg to 12.7 kg, a trade worth making only when the application genuinely needs a powered-off hold. Rotor inertia rises only marginally, from 27.79 to 28.45 kg.cm², so servo tuning is barely affected by the brake's added mass, and both motors share the identical 36.0 A maximum permanent current and 220 V rated supply voltage.
