Selection Notes

The 1/3 AC 200-240 V input rating is the deciding factor over the higher-voltage S200 variants: it lets this drive run from a single-phase 230 V supply at a reduced 8.0 A rated current, or from three-phase 200-240 V at the full 4.4 A rated / 16.8 A max output. Pick it for machines built around a 200-240 V distribution board rather than a 380-480 V one. The built-in PROFINET interface means no separate communication module is needed for integration into a SIMATIC S7 motion control system.

Applications

Suited to single-axis servo positioning on 200-240 V machines - packaging indexing, small pick-and-place, and labeling axes - where PROFINET connectivity to the controller is required without an add-on communication board.
