Selection Notes

The PROFINET variant (5FE12) targets machines already networked on PROFINET for motion control, in contrast to sibling V90 variants built for pulse/analog or other fieldbus interfaces - check the controller's fieldbus before ordering. At 2.0/2.5 kW motor rating in a Frame Size B, 100 x 180 x 220 mm enclosure, this unit sits in the mid-power band of the V90 range; higher continuous torque or larger motors call for the next frame size up. The 380-480 V three-phase input restricts it to industrial supply networks - it is not a 230 V single-phase unit.
