- Description
The Siemens 6SL3100-0BE31-2AB0 is a SINAMICS S120 Active Interface Module sized for the 120 kW Active Line Module, rated for a 3AC 380-480 V, 50/60 Hz input with a 192 A input current. It combines a line filter and commutating inductance ahead of the Active Line Module's active infeed rectifier, weighs 36.6 kg, and carries an IP20 / UL open-type degree of protection.

Selection Notes
This Active Interface Module is matched to the 120 kW Active Line Module and must carry the full 192 A line current that module draws, so verify the connected Active Line Module's power rating before ordering rather than sizing off the connected motor load. The 0.585 kW loss figure and 68 dB sound level factor into cabinet thermal and enclosure noise budgets on panels running the Active Line Module continuously near its 192 A input rating. Conductor cross-section up to 120 mm² sets the maximum incoming cable size the terminals accept.
Applications
Used ahead of a SINAMICS S120 Active Line Module in regenerative multi-axis drive systems, where the Active Interface Module's filter and inductance stage is required for the active infeed to meet line harmonic limits during both motoring and regenerative operation.
