- Description
The Schneider Electric LXM18PDU10M2X is a Lexium 18 LXM18P compact-housing servo drive rated for 1 kW nominal output power from a single-phase 220...240 V supply. It delivers 7.6 A continuous output current at an 8 kHz switching frequency (22.8 A for 3 seconds peak), with integrated Modbus, digital I/O, analog I/O, PTI and PTO connectivity in an IP20 enclosure.

Selection Notes
Size the LXM18PDU10M2X to the driven servo motor's continuous torque requirement, not the drive's peak rating: the 7.6 A continuous output current at 8 kHz sets the sustained ceiling, while the 22.8 A 3-second peak only covers short accelerations and should never be used for continuous-duty sizing. This is the single-phase, 1 kW entry point in the Lexium 18 PDU line, built around the same 155.5 x 78.0 x 166.5 mm compact housing as the 1.5 kW variant — step up to the 1.5 kW variant for more continuous torque headroom on the same 220...240 V single-phase supply, or move to a three-phase variant where the cabinet's incoming feed is three-phase. Its integrated Modbus, digital I/O, analog I/O, PTI and PTO connectivity covers pulse/direction step motion and analog setpoint control without an additional fieldbus card.
