The Schneider Electric LC1D40AV7 is a TeSys Deca 3-pole (3NO) contactor rated 40 A AC-3 at up to 440 V, switching 18.5 kW motors at 400 V. It runs on a 400 V 50/60 Hz AC coil wired straight from the three-phase line, and power connections use EverLink BTR screw connectors that hold torque without periodic retightening.

Selection Notes

At 40 A AC-3 the LC1D40AV7 switches 18.5 kW at 400 V and draws the coil power directly from a 400 V three-phase line, cutting out a control transformer on panels already fed at that voltage. EverLink power terminals rated to 35 mm2 hold torque without retightening on vibration-prone installations, and the 800 A breaking capacity supports coordination with upstream breakers up to 110 A. The electronic-coil BNE/EHE/KUE variants cover the same frame where a lower, wide-range control voltage is preferred.
