The MA magnetic-only trip unit on the LV510442 provides short-circuit protection only, with the instantaneous pick-up adjustable from 6 to 14 times the 12.5 A rating — there is no thermal overload stage, so a separate motor overload relay or thermal device is required for full motor protection. This F-code frame is rated 36 kA at 380/415 V AC; the N-code version of the same frame is rated 50 kA for installations with a higher prospective fault current. Within the EasyPact CVS100F MA range, pick the current rating that places the motor's locked-rotor current inside the breaker's instantaneous adjustment window.
