The Schneider Electric ATV310HU30N4E is an Easy Altivar 310 variable speed drive rated 3 kW (4 hp) heavy duty and 4 kW (5 hp) normal duty for simple asynchronous-motor machines. The ATV310HU30N4E's 3 kW heavy-duty / 4 kW normal-duty pairing lets one drive cover either a constant-torque conveyor at 7.1 A continuous or a variable-torque fan or pump at 8.9 A continuous, without changing hardware. The larger terminal clamping capacity (1.5-4 mm2) versus the smaller HU22 frame accommodates the higher line current at this power step. Choose normal duty in configuration when the load is a fan or pump to draw on the extra output current headroom.
