- Description
The Siemens 6GT2002-0JE10 RF185C is an RFID communication module that connects 1 RF200/300/1000 or MV300/400/500 reader to PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, or OPC UA over Industrial Ethernet at 100 Mbit/s. It also provides an RS422/RS232 point-to-point serial link at up to 921.6 kbit/s per reader channel and carries IP67 protection for direct field mounting close to the read point.

Selection Notes
The single reader channel keeps this the entry point for a stand-alone read/write station covering one lane or gate; a second RF185C node is the right add-on when a new independent read point appears elsewhere on the network. Wiring stays simple with one M12, 8-pin reader port and no digital I/O to configure, so choose it over the RF186C or RF188C whenever the application never needs to poll more than one antenna from the same node.
