- Description
The Siemens 6EP4438-7EB00-3DX0 SITOP SEL1400 is an 8-channel selectivity module that splits a 24 V DC/60 A supply into 8 individually protected outputs, each adjustable from 2 to 10 A via potentiometer. Its current-limiting characteristic trips a single faulted channel without disturbing the other 7, achieves 98% efficiency, and mounts on a DIN rail in an IP20, Class III enclosure.

Selection Notes
Each of the 8 outputs has an independently adjustable trip threshold from 2 to 10 A, so channels feeding different load sizes can each be set to their own protection point instead of sharing one fixed limit. The 5 A step-down design isolates a shorted or overloaded branch circuit from the other 7, which is the core selectivity function against a plain fused distribution block. DIP-switch configurable power-up delay (25 ms, 200 ms, 500 ms, or load-optimized) staggers inrush across the 8 outputs, relevant when several channels feed high-inrush loads simultaneously at startup.
Applications
Fits 24 V DC distribution in control cabinets where multiple downstream circuits, such as I/O modules, sensors, or valve blocks, need individually fused branch protection fed from one 60 A SITOP power supply, with per-channel LED status and a common fault signal contact for remote monitoring.
