The Siemens 6EP4437-7EB00-3DX0 is a SITOP SEL1400 selectivity module with 8 individually adjustable outputs (1-5 A each, set via potentiometer) fed from a 24 V DC input rated 40 A. Each channel trips independently on overcurrent, isolating a faulted branch circuit without dropping the shared 24 V supply to the rest of the panel.

Selection Notes

Eight independently adjustable 1-5 A outputs let SEL1400 give each load its own trip threshold on a shared 24 V rail, so one shorted sensor or valve branch drops out, indicated by its own LED, without taking down the other seven circuits; a simple fused terminal block cannot isolate branches this selectively. The 40 A input rating sizes it for larger DIN-rail distribution panels rather than single-load protection.

Applications

Distributes and protects multiple 24 V DC branch circuits, such as sensors, valves, and small actuators, from one SITOP power supply in control panels where a single-branch fault must not interrupt the whole 24 V rail.
