- Description
The Siemens 6EP4347-7RB00-0AX0 is a SITOP RED1200 redundancy module that decouples two independent 24/48 V DC power supplies, each rated up to 20 A, into a single combined 40 A output for load-sharing or 1+1 redundant operation. It reaches 97.5% efficiency with only 25 W power loss at full rated output and mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail.

Selection Notes
Feeding the module from two separate 24 V, or up to 48 V, supplies rated 20 A each lets either supply fail without interrupting the shared 40 A output bus - the redundancy sits at the power-supply level, so the two source units still need to be sized and protected independently. The wide 12-48 V DC input range covers both 24 V and 48 V DC distribution schemes on the same part number. At 97.5% efficiency and 25 W typical loss, cabinet heat load stays low even feeding a fully loaded 40 A bus continuously.
Applications
N+1 redundant 24 V or 48 V DC power distribution for control systems where a single power-supply failure must not interrupt PLC, I/O, or drive control power, such as process plants and continuous-operation machine control cabinets.
