The 40 A / 960 W output combined with a built-in PROFINET/OPC UA interface separates this PSU8600 unit from the simpler PSU3800/PSU3400 supplies that have no network connectivity — choose it where the cabinet needs remote current-threshold adjustment or OPC UA-based condition monitoring rather than a fixed analog supply. Three-phase 400-500 V input matches larger-load cabinets already on a 3-phase feed. The adjustable current-response threshold (4-40 A) lets one unit be tuned down for a smaller sub-load instead of stocking a separate lower-current PSU8600 variant.
