Selection Notes

Unlike the AC-input SITOP power supplies, the 6EP1536-3AA00 takes a 300-900 V DC bus directly, so it fits behind a rectified or battery-backed DC distribution system rather than a mains feed - the 600 V nominal rating covers common DC traction and telecom bus voltages. Soft-start eliminates output overshoot on power-up, and the response delay is switch-selectable between 0.1 s and 10 s, letting the startup sequence be timed against downstream equipment. Short-circuit behavior is switchable between a constant-current characteristic around 22 A and a latching shutdown, so the fault response can be matched to whether the load needs to recover automatically or be reset manually.
