- Description
The Siemens SITOP PSU300S (6EP1437-2BA20) is a stabilized DIN-rail power supply that converts 400-500 V three-phase AC input into a regulated 24 V DC output at up to 40 A. It delivers 960 W at 91.5% efficiency, includes a floating relay contact for a 24 V OK signal, and its output voltage is adjustable from 24 to 28 V via potentiometer for compensating cable drop.

Selection Notes
The 40 A rating and 960 W output put this at the top of the PSU300S 3AC range, sized for cabinets with multiple PLCs, drives, and I/O racks on one 24 V bus rather than a single small load. The output accepts a 150% overload for up to 5 s per minute, which covers inrush from contactors and solenoids without nuisance shutdowns; automatic-restart short-circuit protection means it recovers on its own once the fault clears instead of requiring a manual reset.
Applications
Sized for control cabinets and machine panels needing a single 24 V DC bus for PLCs, I/O, drives, and sensors from a 400-500 V three-phase supply - typical in larger machine builds and process skids.
