The 10 A rated output (12 A up to 45 degC) and 240 W typical output power cover PLC racks, I/O, and 24 V field devices in one unit; step up to a higher-current SITOP model once the panel's continuous 24 V load exceeds this module's derated capacity. Two of these units can be run in parallel to raise available power or add redundancy, and Siemens redundancy, buffer, and selectivity modules from the same PSU300S family extend the base supply without replacing it.

Applications

Central 24 V DC supply for PLCs, remote I/O, sensors, and actuators fed from a 400-500 V 3 AC distribution board, including panels needing ABS/DNV marine classification for shipboard control systems.
