The Siemens 6EP1333-2BA20 is a SITOP PSU100S DIN-rail power supply that converts 120/230 V AC input into a stabilized 24 V DC output rated at 5 A. It operates with automatic input voltage range selection, delivers 88% efficiency, and provides a 20 ms buffer time on the output during a mains interruption. The output voltage is adjustable from 22.8 to 28 V via potentiometer.

Selection Notes

The 5 A rating covers a control cabinet with a compact CPU, an HMI panel, and a modest set of 24 V field devices without stacking additional supplies. Loads that regularly exceed the 6 A overload ceiling need the higher-current PSU100S variant in the same enclosure family instead. The 800 ms overload window at up to 18 A absorbs the inrush from contactor coils or lamp loads without nuisance-tripping the upstream miniature circuit breaker, and two units can run in parallel to double the available output current on the same DIN rail.

Applications

Fits control panels, ET 200 remote I/O stations, and PLC/HMI power distribution in cabinets already standardized on SITOP. The -25°C to +70°C operating range with natural convection covers unheated enclosures and outdoor cabinets within the 47-63 Hz mains tolerance.
