- Description
The Schneider Electric LC1D38V7 is a TeSys Deca 3-pole (3NO) contactor rated 38 A AC-3 at up to 440 V, built for 18.5 kW motors at 400 V. A 400 V 50/60 Hz AC coil lets it connect directly to a three-phase line without a control transformer, and 1NO+1NC mirror-certified auxiliary contacts come standard for feedback wiring.

Selection Notes
Running the coil at 400 V removes a control transformer from the bill of materials on panels where the main supply is already 400 V three-phase, which is the main reason to pick the LC1D38V7 over the 110 V F7 or 42 V D7 siblings. It carries the same 38 A AC-3, 18.5 kW at 400 V and 550 A breaking-capacity figures across the whole coil-voltage family. Confirm the control circuit protection is sized for the higher coil inrush before wiring directly to the 400 V bus.
