The Ex ib rating (rather than the higher Ex ia grade) means this output circuit is intrinsically safe under a single fault, which is enough for Zone 1 gas and Zone 21 dust areas but not Zone 0. Check the 25.6 V / 96 mA / 0.61 W Uo/Io/Po loop values against the field-side barrier and cable capacitance before wiring a solenoid or pilot light into this circuit. This module carries the L-shutdown input; the otherwise identical H-shutdown variant differs only in that intrinsically safe shutdown-circuit threshold, so pick between them according to what the loop's safety documentation specifies.
