Selection Notes
The AM2 AQ pairs with a LOGO! 8 basic unit to add proportional control outputs - set point signals to VFDs, valve positioners, or process indicators - without a full PLC I/O rack. Each output is field-configurable to 0-10 V or 0/4-20 mA per channel, so the same module serves voltage- and current-input actuators without hardware changes. At 2 spacing units wide and 82 mA draw, it adds outputs to space- and power-constrained LOGO! panels without needing a larger enclosure or supply upgrade.
Applications
Typical uses include driving VFD speed references, positioning control valves, and feeding analog set points to third-party process controllers in small automation panels built around a LOGO! 8 logic module.
