The Siemens 6ED1055-1MB00-0BA2 is a LOGO! 8 DM8 12/24R expansion module that adds 4 digital inputs and 4 relay digital outputs to a LOGO! 8 base module. It accepts 12 V or 24 V DC supply, switches up to 5 A per relay output, and mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail in a 2-module-wide housing.

The relay outputs on the DM8 12/24R rate 5 A resistive per contact, well above the 0.5 A typical of transistor expansion modules, so this variant fits loads like contactor coils or small motor starters directly without an interposing relay. The 12/24 V DC supply range and DC-type inputs make it a drop-in expansion for a 24 V DC LOGO! 8 base module rather than the AC/DC-mixed variants in the same family. Choose the relay-output module over a transistor-output DM8 when the downstream load draws more current or needs galvanic isolation from the LOGO! logic side.
