The Schneider Electric NTSNEC1200K is a Modicon Edge I/O NTS network interface module kit that bridges up to 32 addressable I/O modules to EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP, pre-assembled on its NTSXBA0201H base with NTSXMP0000H termination. Two switched, isolated RJ45 ports support daisy-chain, star or ring (RSTP) topologies at 10/100 Mbit/s, covering a -20...60 degC operating range.

The NTSNEC1200K is the head module of an NTS cluster, converting an EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP network into the NTS I/O bus that addresses up to 32 downstream discrete, analog, temperature or relay modules. For panels exposed to vibration, condensation or wide ambient swings, the hardened NTSNEC1200HK shares the same networking spec with conformal coating and an extended -40...70 degC range. For a Sercos III motion network instead of EtherNet/IP, the NTSNSC1200K is the matching network interface.
