The 6EP1332-4BA00 supplies 3 A at 24 V DC — sufficient for a compact S7-1500 station with a CPU plus a handful of I/O modules drawing up to 72 W combined. Its 20 ms mains buffering at Vin = 93/187 V covers brief supply dips without triggering a CPU restart. Where the station load exceeds 3 A, two PM 1507 units can be paralleled without additional hardware. Vertical mounting is permissible but derate the ambient limit to 40 °C; horizontal mounting retains the full 0–60 °C range. Choose the higher-rated PM 1507 5 A variant (6EP1333-4BA00) when module count or powered field devices push the 24 V bus above 72 W.
