- Description
The Schneider Electric XB5KSM is a Harmony XB5 complete buzzer with a dark grey plastic bezel and black cap, rated 230...240 V AC with a continuous or intermittent tone. It mounts into a standard 22 mm panel cut-out for a signalling-only audible alarm, without the lamp block of the illuminated XB5KS2 buzzer variants.

Selection Notes
At 230...240 V AC, the XB5KSM wires directly into a mains-fed signal circuit without a step-down transformer, unlike the 24 V XB5KSB variant used on PLC-driven control circuits. Current draw stays under 18 mA, adding negligible load. It omits the integral lamp of the XB5KS2 illuminated-buzzer variants, so pick it when only an audible signal is needed and panel wiring should stay simple.
