- Description
The Schneider Electric LZ8H2X4BD is a TeSys Hybrid ultra-compact reversing starter with an integrated Safe Torque Off function, combining forward/reverse hybrid power contacts, class 10A thermal overload protection and SIL3/PLe safety in a 22.5 mm wide housing, for 3-phase motors up to 0.75 kW at 400 V. The thermal range is adjustable 0.18-2.4 A on a 24 V DC control circuit.

Selection Notes
The LZ8H2X4BD adds forward/reverse logic inputs to the LZ7H2X4BD's safety function, so it suits reversing applications — such as a small actuator or indexing table — that still need a certified SIL3/PLe safe-stop without an external safety relay. As with every STO variant in the range, only manual or electrical reset is available after a thermal trip. For single-direction motors, the LZ7H2X4BD covers the same current and power at a smaller logic footprint.
