Schneider Electric LUCL1XFU TeSys U Standard Control Unit 0.35-1.4 A 110-240 V AC/DC Motor Starter Module

The Schneider Electric LUCL1XFU is a TeSys U magnetic control unit that inserts into the LUB12, LUB32, and LUB38 power base to form a complete starter-controller for 3-phase motors up to 0.25 kW at 400-415 V AC. It gives adjustable short-circuit protection over a 0.35-1.4 A rated current range at an overcurrent threshold of 14.2 x Ir, and is powered from a 110-240 V AC / 110-220 V DC control circuit.

Selection Notes

Pick the LUCL1XFU by matching its 0.35-1.4 A adjustment range to the full-load current of the motor, not the motor's nameplate power alone, since the dial sets the short-circuit trip point rather than an overload curve. The 110-240 V AC / 110-220 V DC control circuit voltage must match the coil supply available at the starter; overload protection itself is supplied separately by the drive or soft starter the unit is paired with, since this control module only provides short-circuit protection and manual reset.
