- Description
The Schneider Electric GZ1LE08 is a 3-pole Easy TeSys Power motor circuit breaker with a fixed magnetic-only trip set at 4 A, giving a breaking capacity (Icu) of ≥100 kA at 400/415 V. It is DIN-rail mounted, operated by a push-button, and conforms to IEC 60947-2 and IEC 60947-4-1 for direct motor protection.

Selection Notes
The GZ1LE08 has no thermal adjustment dial, so it only protects against short-circuit and severe overcurrent at the fixed 4 A magnetic threshold; it is specified where the motor already has separate thermal/overload protection (for example in a starter with a dedicated overload relay) and only short-circuit breaking is required from the breaker itself. For a lower rating, the GZ1LE07 is fixed at 2.5 A; for a higher one, the GZ1LE10 is fixed at 6.3 A. Where the motor needs its thermal protection built into the breaker, the equivalent GZ1E series in the same frame adds the adjustable thermal-magnetic trip.
